We have ambitious growth plans and are looking for a strong Project Manager with a passion for design to join our growing team!

You'll join a high-performing team and help to improve existing processes across clients and workstreams, supporting the effective delivery of work for our key clients.

You will have a proven track record in managing a variety of projects, from time-boxed design sprints to complex enterprise transformations. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to construct robust programmes of work, manage stakeholders effectively, and communicate with clarity.

Here's what you'll do

• Own, operate and ensure the successful delivery of the project, to planned budget, scope and quality.

• Organise communications to ensure smooth operating of the project, both internally and with the client throughout the project life cycle.

• Define and manage project scope, with confidence in negotiating client discussions relating to changing circumstances including effort, resource, time and quality.

• Carefully construct a program of work for the product team, building a clear understanding of responsibilities and needs across strategy, design and engineering

• Manage partner collaborations on projects where specialist skills are brought in to deliver the client vision

• Develop and maintain key project artefacts, including plans, reports, logs, tasks, and backlogs, to ensure the project can be clearly conveyed and understood by the project team, the client stakeholder and senior leadership.

• Utilise operational tools and teams (finance, resourcing) to ensure your project has the correct support to function successfully and that its bottom-line performance is being carefully tracked and reported.

• Monitor project performance, identifying and proactively mitigating risks, and ensure we are delivering against our promises

About you

As well as a positive and proactive attitude here's some skills required to be successful:

• Proficient in project management tools and systems (eg Jira, Trello)

• Numerate and operational in thinking on project performance and financial management of project bottom line

• Takes a self-organising approach to project governance, executing our defined process

• Experience delivering integrated digital products and navigating complexity within large organisations

• Strategic project approach, with the ability to understand business opportunity, while balancing risk and cost.

• Has the ability to stay outcome-oriented with cross-functional, cross-disciplined teams in a client-facing environment

• Can bring clarity to ambiguity and align teams around a plan

• Highly organised, detail-oriented and adaptable

• Excellent written and verbal communication to synthesise, plan and execute

• Collaborative by nature and can help foster communication amongst the team

Nice to have

• Experience working in a consultancy or agency is an advantage

• A recognised project management qualification (eg PRINCE2)
